APA (American Psychological Association) referencing is a way of citing research in your report. Citations are an acknowledgement that the idea or quote is taken from another source.
An example of an in text citation is:
It has been argued that “social media can be an excellent avenue for introverted people to find a comfortable setting to interact” (Jones, 2013).
Then, in the bibliography I would include the full information that links the reader to my source.
